The POI Girls team successfully delivered a high‑impact online workshop addressing mobile phone addiction in young children. With 100 live attendees on Zoom plus a significant YouTube audience, the session—led by Dr. Khan Mubashshira Firdous— clearly explained the pros, consequences, and practical solutions for managing children’s mobile use. The program was praised for its organization, relevance, and actionable advice.
Its main Objectives were-
· Educate mothers and girls on the effects of early and excessive mobile exposure.
· Identify signs of mobile addiction in young children.
· Provide step‑by‑step strategies to reduce screen time and build healthier habits.
Q&A session extended due to lively participation of the audience.
Positive feedback from the mothers were given like, “eye opening, useful and well organized”.
The POI workshop was a clear hit. It strengthened POI Girls’ reputation as a community‑focused, action‑oriented group.
