DIVE INTO DEEN
Subject: Pearls of Islam (POI)-IMA Kuwait conducts a Summer Vacation Program on Dive into Deen.
For many, the holidays are a time when distractions are abundant. To optimize summer vacations Pearls of Islam, an educational annexe of The IMA, Ladies Wing Kuwait, presented young girls with an amazing opportunity to participate in a perfectly tailored Summer Camp. Starting from the 25th of June until 14th of August, 2024, a total of 55 students enrolled mostly from the Jleeb and Khaitan Zones.
The students were upskilled with an array of subjects such as Qur’an Tafseer, Tajweed, Calligraphy, flameless cooking and art activities that include embroidery, paper Quilling, etc. Not inhibiting to classroom learning, the students were further taken to Venue 56, Salmiya where they made great memories to cherish for their future.
Ms. Fadheela Ebrahim, very popular among the younger generation, a mentor, an educator herself, interacted with the students and gave them a deep insight into the world of knowledge, wisdom and the importance of their actions.
As the summer came to an end, it was time for the well-deserved Felicitation, which was held on 23rd August 2024, in which an assembly of over 130 Ladies was observed, Including the students, their mothers and distinguished guests. All the 55 students were awarded certificates and Gifts for their dedication and performance.
The program would have been incomplete without the powerful and motivating speech by Daiya, Sis. Ameena Tamimi from the Islam Presentation Committee and the support from the ministry of Foreign Relations, Islamic Affairs & AWQAF.
The program further evolved into an interaction between the audience and the host, over a series of Quizzes and the celebration was marked by the praise of the Almighty Allah, in the form of a beautiful Nasheed.
Such type of programs help young girls grow spiritually, by offering a structured learning environment, empowering them to live in accordance with Islamic principles.
Pearls Of Islam (POI), a subsidiary wing of IMA Ladies Wing Kuwait, is currently active in six areas in Kuwait namely, Fahaheel, Mangaf, Abu Halifa, Salmiya, Abbasiya and Khaitan. The POI, has opened registrations for Girls across Kuwait for its Six Months Islamic Course, starting September 2024 until February 2025.
