IMA LADIES WING HELD SEERAH CAMPAIGN AT THE SALMIYA EXCELLENCE SCHOOL, FOR YOUNG GIRLS ON 21 OCTOBER 2022
لقد كان لكم في رسول اللهِ أَسْوَةٌ حَسَنَةٌ
Verily you have in the Messenger of Allah an excellent model, following the theme of this ayah from Chapter 33:21, the following event was conducted.
The afternoon began with enthusiastic students showcasing their skills by participating in various competitions being held in every corner of the auditorium. The participants in the Elocution competition expressed how the character of the Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him) is the Quran and he is a guiding star for the entire mankind. They also presented the glimpses of his victories and lessons to be learnt from his life. Creativity was at its peak, during the Poster making competition wherein the participants highlighted various aspects of the Prophetic medicine, along with which girls also presented an array of delicacies depicting the ingredients that are a Sunnah of the Noble Prophet (peace & blessings be upon him) each also having innumerable scientific benefits.
Those moments were announcing in themselves how the Love of the Last Prophet-Mercy to Mankind is present in the hearts of those gathered in the auditorium. Each partaker through their participation depicted how they have been groomed by the Pearls of Islam classes, conducted by the IMA Ladies Wing. A fun space of “quiz corner” was also created for all the attendees to win amazing prizes.
Further on, the main event began with the Praise of Allah (the Most Glorified) and moved ahead with the first Speaker of the day. “Tell the people about the Prophet (Peace be upon him), the ones who start following him, shall naturally & undoubtedly love him” was a beautiful gist by the speaker Latifa Aladwani. Then the event was adorned with a beautiful Nasheed by young girls portraying their love for the noble Prophet (peace be upon him). The audience of 100 members listened carefully and patiently when the program moved on to a short speech by Wafa Malallah, the second speaker of the day who left a beautiful message about how the path to Knowledge is a path to paradise and preaching to the girls how gaining knowledge is an asset to be cherished forever.
Each girl who participated was indeed a winner in their truest form, the event moved towards its conclusion with the Prize distribution ceremony, presentation of token of appreciation to the valued guest speakers and judges of the competitions. Audience were seen smiling and raising hands during the Lucky draw session and lastly the event was winded with Vote of thanks by the Coordinator of Pearls of Islam.
